Buy a car with home delivery – to your door, anywhere in Switzerland

At FlexiMoto delivery is not an extra added at the end. You enter your postcode on the vehicle page and the final price already includes the trip to your address – just like the MFK inspection, registration and customs. Here is how delivery works, how long it takes and what happens at handover.

What does “delivery included in the price” mean at FlexiMoto?

Many dealers show a vehicle price and add delivery as a flat fee – anything from 200 to 500 francs depending on the dealer, sometimes only visible in the last ordering step. FlexiMoto works differently: the price you see after entering your postcode is the price you pay. It covers transport to your address, the MFK inspection, Swiss registration with number plates, customs and VAT. What you cover yourself is only the cantonal vehicle tax and your insurance.

How does buying a car with delivery work, in 5 steps?

  1. Choose a vehicle and enter your postcode: On the vehicle page you immediately see the final price including delivery to your address.
  2. Reserve online: Your name and address are enough. The vehicle is reserved for you for seven days, and you can cancel free of charge within 24 hours.
  3. Contract and payment: You receive the purchase contract and reservation confirmation digitally; payment is made before delivery, no cash at the door.
  4. Import, MFK and registration: FlexiMoto collects the car in Germany, clears it through customs, takes it through the MFK inspection and registers it in your canton.
  5. Delivery and handover: We arrange an appointment, bring the car to your door and go through the handover report together – keys, registration document, papers.
How long until delivery?
Allow two to four weeks from reservation. That time goes into collection in Germany, customs, the MFK inspection and registration – not the drive to you. If the vehicle is already in Thayngen, it is quicker. We agree the exact delivery date with you by phone or e-mail.

What should you watch out for in other dealers' delivery offers?

Three questions are worth asking before any purchase: is delivery really included in the displayed price, or is a flat fee added? Does the car arrive registered with number plates, or do you have to go to the road traffic office yourself? And who is liable during transport? At FlexiMoto the answers are: included, registered, we are – the vehicle is insured until handover.

What does delivery cost?

Nothing extra. As soon as you enter your postcode on the vehicle page, transport to your address is part of the final price. There is no flat fee and no surcharge by distance.

Where does FlexiMoto deliver?

To all 26 cantons, to any address a car transporter or delivery driver can reach. If you prefer to collect, you can pick the vehicle up at our site in Thayngen (SH).

How long does delivery take?

Usually two to four weeks from reservation. Most of that goes into collection in Germany, customs, the MFK inspection and registration. We agree the delivery date with you personally.

What happens at handover?

You check the car against the handover report, receive the keys, the registration document and all papers, and sign the acceptance. The car is registered and carries number plates – you can drive right away.

Do I have to be at home for delivery?

Yes, you or a person you authorise – with ID. We agree the appointment beforehand so the handover can take place calmly.

Can I still cancel the order?

Free of charge within 24 hours of the reservation. After that the import starts for you. At handover you check the vehicle against the report; as a Swiss seller we stand behind the statutory warranty.
