Viewing & cancellation
Video viewing and 24h cancellation – your safety net when buying a car online
There is no return right after handover when buying a car – neither with us nor at a local dealership. Instead you see the vehicle in detail on video before you buy, you can cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours, and after handover the statutory liability for defects applies.
How do you inspect the car before buying?
1. Online documentation
Every vehicle is documented with 30–80 high-resolution photos, an equipment list, the vehicle history (previous owners, service records) and a CarVertical report. You see more detail than on a typical visit to a dealership.
2. Video viewing
Once an appointment is set, a FlexiMoto employee shows you the car live on a video call — engine bay, interior, cold start and running noise. Ideal if you'd rather not come to us in person.
3. Personal advice
Any open questions go straight to your contact person by phone, email or WhatsApp – free of charge and without obligation, before you sign the purchase contract.
How does the 24-hour cancellation work?
- Deadline: 24 hours from the moment your order reaches us.
- Requirement: we have not yet bindingly procured or reserved the vehicle.
- Process: tap cancel order in “My area” or drop us a line; any payments already made are refunded in full.
How does the liability for defects apply after the withdrawal period?
You are protected after the return period expires too: as a Swiss dealer we are liable for at least 1 year for hidden defects (gearbox, engine, electronics). If you spot a fault within that time that already existed at handover, get in touch — we arrange the repair or take the car back.
Frequently asked questions
Can I view the car before I buy it?
We don't offer classic test drives. Instead you get a detailed video viewing: a FlexiMoto employee shows you the vehicle live on a video call – interior, exterior, engine bay, cold start. You see more detail than on a typical visit to a dealership.
Can I still cancel my order?
Yes – free of charge and without giving a reason within 24 hours of your order reaching us, as long as we have not yet bindingly procured or reserved the vehicle. Any payments already made are refunded in full. After that, cancellation is only possible by arrangement and the costs incurred are charged.
What happens if defects turn up after handover?
As a Swiss dealer we are liable for hidden defects for at least 1 year. Report the defect in writing; we arrange the repair or take the car back.
Can I return the car after handover?
No. There is no return or withdrawal right after handover when buying a car – neither with us nor at a local dealership. That is why we show you the vehicle in detail on video beforehand. If a hidden defect appears later, the statutory liability for defects applies: report it in writing and we will deal with it.
Is there a warranty on the vehicle?
Yes. On top of the statutory liability for defects you can add an extended warranty (12–36 months) through a Swiss warranty provider. The details are in the purchase contract.
